The Pheasantry Brewery near East Markham is holding their 1St Beer Festival and Family Weekend from 20th to 23rd June. Six of their own beers, including Pheasantry Pilsner and the summer special Dancing Dragonfly, will be available, plus numerous guest ales and ciders.
The Pilsner has recently been launched in the Pheasantry bar and is proving to be a great success with customers. It is a smooth but well hopped pilsner style lager brewed and conditioned over a 3 month period with a 4.2% ABV. All of the Pheasantry beers are available in bottles in the newly opened Beer Shop, alongside mini-kegs, gift packs and t-shirts.
The Beer Festival and Family Weekend celebrates the first anniversary of the Pheasantry Brewery and Restaurant opening in June 2012. There will be something for everyone, with souvenir glasses, a barbecue and live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and a bouncy castle and children’s games in the beer garden.
The opening times for the Beer Festival are Thursday 20th June 6pm to 11pm, Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd 12 noon to 11pm, Sunday 23rd 12 noon to 4pm. Entry is £2 per adult, free for CAMRA members and children. The Pheasantry Brewery and Restaurant are just minutes from the A1, on the Nottinghamshire-Lincolnshire borders.
