Sunday March 5th 2017 Final arrangements for transport Bus leaves Just Beer at 1230 to go to Southwell. Presentation at The Final Whistle about 1330. Bus leaves Southwell to go back to Just Beer at 1415. Presentation at Just Beer about 1500. Bus returns to Southwell about 1700 Cheers Andrew

The Chequers has been granted ACV. This means that it is protected for six months to allow local groups the chance to consider what to do.

Walk final details
This years Christmas walk is on Tuesday 27th December 2016. Approx 7 miles circular from Bingham. Meet at Bingham Wetherspoons at 10:15 for a pint/coffee, walk begins around 11:00. After the walk we shall go to the Wheatsheaf where you can order food whilst sampling a variety of real ales. Sawmill Saved
Today, Newark and Sherwood District Council turned down the application by Marstons to demolish The Sawmill. To celebrate, we will be having our May 5th branch meeting at the pub.
